Mouni, eine frustrierte Schauspielerin in Mumbai, lernt Adnan Baig, einen depressiven Banker im Ruhestand in Frankfurt, bei einem Online-Filmcasting kennen. Einen Tag lang lotst Mouni per Videocall Adnan durch die Grundlagen der Schauspielkunst und gleichzeitig auf ungewohnten Wegen durch Frankfurt, während sie sich parallel dazu durch Mumbai bewegt. Trotz der großen Entfernung ist der Kontakt so intensiv, dass er beide dazu bringt, sich emotional zu öffnen und zeigt zwei Menschen, die im Grunde ihres Herzens einander sehr ähnlich sind. Der Film enthüllt ihre Vergangenheit, ihre Ängste, ihre Schmerzen und Freuden und verändert sie ….

Mouni, a frustrated actress from Mumbai, meets Adnan Baig, a depressed retired banker from Frankfurt, at an online film casting call. For one day, Mouni guides Adnan through the basics of acting via video call and, at the same time, takes him on an unusual tour of Frankfurt, while she moves through Mumbai in the background. Despite the great distance between them, their connection is so intense that both of them open up emotionally, showing two people who at heart, beyond their labels, are very similar human beings. It unravels their pasts, their fears, their pains and joys and leaves them changed …
